Questions, Answered

Before you book

Does this replace my own vet?
No — and it's not meant to. We work alongside your primary vet and any trainer you're seeing. Your vet stays responsible for your pet's general health; we add specialist behavioural diagnosis and a treatment plan, and we keep your vet in the loop so everyone is working from the same page.
How can you diagnose a behaviour problem over video?
Behavioural medicine relies on detailed history, context, and seeing your pet in the environment where problems actually happen — your home. A video consultation often gives a clearer picture than a clinic visit, where stress can mask or change behaviour. You'll share background before the session so your specialist arrives already prepared.
Will my pet need medication?
Not necessarily. Our approach is multi-modal: environmental management, behaviour modification, and medication only when it's clinically indicated. If medication could help, your specialist will explain why, what to expect, and coordinate it with your own vet — never as a shortcut or a default.
How long until we see an improvement?
It depends on the pet and the problem. Some guardians notice small changes within days of starting their plan; more complex cases are a longer, step-by-step process. We'll set realistic expectations together and adjust the plan as your pet progresses, rather than promising a quick fix.
What happens in the first session, and how do I prepare?
After you book, you'll tell us about your pet and what's been happening. In your one-to-one video session, your specialist reviews that history, asks questions, and explains what's really going on. You finish with a clear, personalised treatment plan — and ongoing support to adjust it.
How much does it cost?
Full pricing is shown up front when you start a booking, before you commit to anything — no hidden fees. A consultation includes a comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and a personalised treatment plan, with follow-up support available for existing clients.
